Getting accurate data and having control over your form entries should be simple.

After all, you put a lot of work into getting form submissions!

That’s why we’re so excited to introduce Form Entries in WPForms! Here’s what this newest feature means for you and your website.

Entry Editing

The newest version of WPForms comes with some solid improvements, but most noticeably you’ll now see Entry Editing as a feature.

You asked for the ability to have more control over your form entries, so this update delivers. This means that inside of your form entries, you’ll have the option to edit them.

Not only was it a popular feature request, but we know how important getting accurate data from your forms is — and having more control.

For example, say a user reaches out to you to let you know they accidentally put a typo in their last name. You can go into the form entry and edit it. That way, the last name will be spelled correctly.

Or, let’s say you’ve reached out to someone after they’ve filled out a form, and you now have more info on them. You can update the entry so those details are on file under that lead, making your form entries and database even smarter.

Check out our step-by-step instructions on how to edit entries in WPForms.

And, once an entry is edited, it’s tracked in the Log of the entry. That way, you can easily see when an entry was edited and who did the editing.

This is especially helpful if you’re using Access Control to let others edit entries, which we’ll talk about next.

Control Entry Editing Permissions

Want to let a registered user edit their own entry? Or, let another member of your team do it but not have access to everything in your WPForms?

Our Access Controls feature lets you adjust different user roles to give them access to Entry Editing, and more.

This lets you have more granular controls over what WordPress users can and can’t do with WPForms, including editing for form entries.

Entry Editing is available to all WPForms Pro and Elite users.
